Find someone their Phone Number

Method 1: using the native option
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app on your phone and tap the profile icon in the bottom left corner of the app.
Step 2: From your profile page, tap the hamburger menu icon in the top right corner to display the profile option. Select Discover people.
Step 3: On the People Search page, navigate to the Contacts section and tap Connect Contacts button
Step 4: If you use this feature for the first time, Instagram will request access to you phone’s contacts. Tap the Allow option to allow Instagram to access your contact list.
That gives the app access to your contact list and identifies the people who are already on Instagram. Step 5: After you grant the app access to your contact, Instagram will be automatically synced phone numbers of your phone to your account. All Instagram accounts associated with a phone Your contact number will then appear in the Contacts section of the People Search / Discover page. You can then proceed to choose who to track. Note: If you give Instagram access to your contacts, it will automatically turn on Contacts sync, i.e. your contacts will be periodically synced and stored on Instagram servers. Step 6: If none of the phone numbers on your contact list are associated with an Instagram account, the message ‘No contacts available’ is displayed.
If you can’t find your friends on their phone number, then there are only two reasons. They have registered with a different number, or they have not added a number at all.
Method 2: let Instagram find your friends
Step 1: Launch the Instagram app and go to the profile section of the app.
Step 2: Tap the Hamburger menu icon in the top left corner and select Settings at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: From the app settings page, select ‘Follow and invite friends’
Step 4: On the next page, select Follow Contact and Instagram will show all usernames (read: Instagram accounts) associated with one phone number on your contacts list.
Step 5: If none of the phone numbers on your contact list are on Instagram, a message saying ‘No contacts available’ will appear on the screen. Whenever your contact joins Instagram using their phone number, or connect them phone number to their Instagram account, they will appear in the Contacts section of the app.
Warnings
Try to find someone you don’t know very well (personally) on Instagram with the help of them phone number can be considered unethical. You won’t be able to find people who support their phone numbers to their Instagram accounts using the two methods mentioned above.
